IMMX rises 5.7% after investor alert flags probe

Finvera Editorial Team··move recap

Immix Biopharma (IMMX) rose +5.7% on Aug 6, 2026 after Pomerantz Law Firm issued an “investor alert” saying it’s investigating potential claims on behalf of Immix investors.

What Immix announced

Immix itself didn’t announce a new product update or financing — the headline item was a notice from Pomerantz Law Firm.

According to the release, the firm is investigating whether Immix and certain officers and/or directors engaged in securities fraud, and it pointed investors to information about joining a potential class action.

The notice also recapped a sequence of company disclosures around its chief medical officer role: Immix announced the appointment of Richard Graydon as CMO, then later announced his termination “for reasons unrelated to his activities at the company.”

Media outlets subsequently reported, citing a U.S. Marshals Service press release, that Graydon’s real name was Ronald L. Fischer, and that he had been a fugitive until an arrest in July 2026.

What it means for Immix

An investor-law-firm investigation can add a fresh layer of scrutiny and uncertainty, especially when it centers on what the company and its leadership knew and when they knew it.

Even without a filed lawsuit in the announcement, the “investor alert” framing signals that plaintiffs’ firms may be looking to build a case around the company’s disclosures and governance.

For Immix, the key issue is reputational and process-related: questions around executive vetting and disclosure practices could become a distraction while the company tries to execute on its broader plans.

The situation could also keep attention on management credibility, since the notice explicitly ties the investigation to the CMO hiring and termination timeline described in the release.
