$SNX Falls 3.1% After Hyve Picks Nevada for New Plants

Finvera Editorial Team··move recap

TD SYNNEX ($SNX) fell 3.1% on Aug 19, 2026 after its Hyve Solutions subsidiary said it selected Nevada for two new advanced manufacturing campuses in Reno and North Las Vegas.

What Hyve Solutions announced

Hyve Solutions Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of TD SYNNEX, said it has selected Nevada as the site for two new advanced manufacturing campuses. The company plans one campus in Reno and another in North Las Vegas, expanding its manufacturing footprint in the state.

The Reno site is described as Hyve’s flagship campus in Nevada, occupying roughly 624,000 square feet of advanced manufacturing space. The North Las Vegas facility would extend Hyve’s presence into Southern Nevada.

Hyve said the two campuses are expected to create approximately 3,000 new jobs as the company builds out its manufacturing operations. Roles are expected to span production, engineering, quality, supply chain, warehouse, and operations, with a mix of hourly and salaried positions.

What it means for TD SYNNEX

For TD SYNNEX, the announcement underscores an emphasis on scaling Hyve’s U.S.-based manufacturing capacity for compute, storage, and networking systems tied to AI, cloud, and digital infrastructure. A larger manufacturing footprint could position Hyve to support more customer demand and broaden operational capabilities across multiple sites.

The planned Reno flagship campus and the additional North Las Vegas facility suggest a push for geographic reach within Nevada, which could help with logistics and staffing flexibility. The job-creation plan also signals that Hyve is preparing for a ramp in production and operational activity as the campuses come online.

At the same time, a buildout of this size implies a significant operational undertaking, from hiring to standing up new facilities. How quickly the campuses scale and how smoothly the ramp goes could matter for how investors view the pace and execution of Hyve’s expansion.
